Wire Basket Shelf

August 02, 2016

I seem to be having a lot of extra time on my hands these days and you know what that means.... rearranging, new home decor, and lots of DIY projects. My poor husband can't seem to find anything in our house these days with all the changes I've been making - though that could be part of his 'man-syndrome'. I'll go with the latter :P

I decided I really like the industrial/vintage look. So slowly but surely the house is getting a makeover. Just a tiny one.
We all know wire baskets are huge these days and soooooo pricey. I found these baskets at the dollar store and decided I needed to have them. So first came the baskets then came the wood and soon after came this wire basket holder shelf. Whatever you want to call it. I've always had wood laying around the house so it was easy to piece this together. It's simple and super cute!!

Supply:
  • Wire baskets From the Dollar Store. Wood
  • If you have any laying around or you can run to Lowes/Home Depot and pick some up for a few dollars.
  • Screws and washers
  • Again I had these on hand. Lowes/Home Depot will have what you need too.
  • Paint/Wood Stain. You can get creative with this one and go with any color you want.
Put it all together and ta-da!!

This is now hanging proudly in my guest bathroom with the essentials.
